Brushless DC pump purchase

There are many types of magnetic pumps. When designing equipment, determine the pump's application and performance parameters and choose the pump type. How to choose a brushless DC pump should pay attention to the following aspects:


First, the medium

  The medium of the pump must be considered. It must meet the requirements of the medium characteristics. The pump that transports the most flammable, explosive, toxic or valuable medium requires reliable shaft seal or a leak-free pump. Such as magnetic drive pump (without shaft seal, driven by an isolated magnetic profile). For pumps that transport corrosive media, corrosive materials are required for convection components. Such as fluoroplastic corrosion resistant pumps. For pumps containing solid particulate media, it is required that the convection component be made of wear-resistant material, and if necessary, the shaft seal should be flushed with a cleaning liquid.


Second, choose the nature of the pump

  Make the selected pump's type and performance meet the requirements of process parameters such as flow, lift, pressure, temperature, etc. The most important thing is to determine the voltage and pay attention to the positive and negative poles, the highest lift, the size and shape of the inlet and outlet pumps, and how high the lift is. How much traffic is reached at the time. Please refer to the head-flow graph for details. (Note: The centrifugal pump has no suction stroke. The diaphragm pump has a suction stroke)


Third, mechanical requirements require high reliability, low noise, and low vibration.


Fourth, how to correctly calculate the input cost of purchasing pumps

  The first purchase, shop around, accurately calculate the price of the pump, and then choose the product that can reach the price you want.


  However, for the user, the role of the magnetic pump in the use process is much higher than the cost of purchasing it. Therefore, the problem of the pump and the wasted work time and maintenance cost must be calculated to the overall cost. In the same way, the pump will consume a lot of electric energy during the operation. For many years, the energy consumed by a small pump is staggering.


  According to the follow-up survey of some products sold by some foreign pump factories, the biggest cost of the pump in its service life is not the initial purchase cost, nor the maintenance cost, but the power consumed. Surprisingly, it was found that the value of the electric energy consumed by the pump has far exceeded its own procurement cost and maintenance cost. Considering its own efficiency, noise, manual maintenance, etc., what reason can we buy those quality and price? What about low "parallel" products? In fact, the principle of a certain type of pump is the same, the structure and components inside are similar, the biggest difference is reflected in the material selection, workmanship and quality of the components. Unlike other products, the difference in component cost of the pump is very significant, and the gap is so large that most people can't imagine it. For example, a small shaft seal can be bought for a few cents cheaper, while a good product requires dozens or even hundreds of yuan. It is conceivable how big the difference between the products made by these two products is. What people worry about is that they are almost indistinguishable in the early stages of use. The price gap of hundreds of thousands of times is reflected in the performance and service life of the product. Short-lived (months), noise (appearing after a month or two), and leakage (appearing after two or three months) continue to occur, causing many users to regret not starting the difference in the middle of the province. The large noise and high heat in the process of use are actually valuable energy conversion to useless kinetic energy (mechanical friction) and heat energy, and the actual effective work (pumping) is actually pitiful.
